It depends on what our life priorities are. To rest effectively means to rest in the way you enjoy the most, because it is that 'most' that will recharge you the best. When we engage in our favorite activities – or simply indulge in doing nothing – our brain sends very positive signals to our entire body. Therefore, we draw the best and most important benefits from rest. So, when you know what you want, when you know what the best form of rest is, and you put it into practice – that’s when you will rest most effectively.
And how to rest effectively? Oh, that’s a bigger topic. At least from an ecological standpoint, which, as usual, we want to touch upon here. There are certainly those for whom 'effectively' means in a grand way, with plenty of waste generated in the process. Fortunately, trends are clearly moving in the opposite direction. Truly effective rest will soon mean doing so in a way that leaves no carbon footprint behind. The key phrase: climate neutrality.
It’s not easy, but it’s possible. Priority: conscious choices. Do you choose ice cream in cones that you will also eat, or in packaging that will then be thrown into mixed waste? Do you choose water in a glass bottle or a plastic one? Do you choose a hotel where the room temperature management system is based on heat pumps or coal energy? When going on a trip to a city – for example, the beautiful Toruń – do you eat fast food or look for a good local restaurant? When planning a SPA retreat, do you bring your own reusable slippers, or do you plan to use disposable ones? There are countless aspects to consider. But we believe that, as a result of these reflections, you will rest in an incredibly effective way. Together with us.
