How to use the infrared sauna?

At the Bulwar SPA usually we heat it up to 60 degrees.

First wash your body thoroughly in warm water. The showers are located in the cloakrooms, gentle organic skin cleaners are available. Enter the infrared sauna naked, without the costumes and tightly wrapped towels. Sit or lie down on the bench. Relax, don’t talk. If you are nervous, try to calm down before entering the sauna, it will increase the benefits of the session.

In the infrared sauna we usually have one session, but we stay there longer: up to 30 minutes (use the hourglass, which is located at the sauna).

After the procedure in an infrared sauna, cool the body down in the cold shower, this will help you to start thermoregulatory processes, improve immunity and temper the body. Cooling should start from the feet and gradually go up to the head.

After sauna, it is worth to supplement the liquids with still water. Drinking during the session is not recommended as it delays the body’s cleansing processes.
