The most important feature of the room is the bed. In our TWIN SUPERIOR rooms—designed with separate beds—we use exceptionally wide mattresses: 100 cm, so you can sleep comfortably.
The room décor refers to the site’s historic purpose: the building was erected in the 19th century as Prussian barracks. The TWIN SUPERIOR rooms are located on the 4th, 5th and 6th floors. The 4th floor used to function as an anti-bomb shield: 2 m high, filled with sand, gravel, rubble, etc. The idea behind this level was for the 19th-century architects to protect the floors below from damage caused by bombardment. Today, the 4th floor stands out with windows flush with the west façade, which—inside the room as well—create an interesting visual effect. Meanwhile, the 5th floor features low-set windows. For safety reasons (perhaps you’re visiting with small children?), the windows in these rooms can only be opened to a limited extent.
The TWIN SUPERIOR room is an elegant double room with a view of the cascading garden or the evergreen roof of the new hotel building, covered with a photovoltaic installation. The bathroom offers a shower or a bathtub, a washbasin and a toilet.

For coffee and tea, we invite you to our hotel restaurant. As part of our sustainable development policy, we have removed kettles from the rooms in order to limit the amount of electronic waste produced by the hotel. However, if you need a kettle, please contact reception, where you can borrow one.
Since the beginning of Hotel Bulwar’s operations, all light sources in the rooms are energy-saving LED bulbs. In winter, we heat the hotel using energy from heat pumps. We generate green electricity thanks to our photovoltaic installation. For more information about our pro-environmental activities, you can find it in the Environment tab.
